Emily Weidman has close to a decade of experience working in the social work field. She recently obtained her MSW degree at UNC Charlotte, graduating in May 2024. For the last 8+ years, Emily has found her passion for working in the nonprofit sector. Emily began as the Manager of Volunteer Engagement at A Place at the Table, oversees program management, engagement, recruitment and retention strategies, and ensuring that the organization is operating with equity at the forefront when it comes to best practices in the volunteer setting. Now, as the Director of Partnerships and Community Engagement, Emily seeks to connect and enhance corporate and nonprofit partners to the mission and community at A Place at the Table. Emily's competencies include volunteer engagement, overseeing large caseloads, program management and development, community outreach, and a skill in fostering relationships.
