I opened Watea a Boutique Bed in Jervoistown Napier. Establishing Watea has involved putting into practice a number of my skills; Strategic and Business Planning, Marketing and use of Social Media.Being a new operation Watea started ranked 44 of 44 B&B's in Napier. After 18 months it was ranked no1 of 78 B&B's in Hawkes Bay.

I was contracted to a consulting company responsible for a number of Public Sector organisations, Health, Justice Sector and Inland Revenue, identifying areas of challenges to the business, providing consultants to address business needs and managing the delivery of consulting services to ensure these achieve the outcomes desired and achieve recognition for value and meeting defined objectives

Reponsible for a number of Unisys outsources customers

In this role I was responsible for Outsourcing, the offering, the services, pricing, revenue and EBIT

Telecom Advanced Solutions acquired Gen-I and rebranded the company. This was a continuation of the role for Telecom responsible for outsourcing.

The role was sales and services of Consulting and Java based Software Development for organisations such as ACC and Correspondence School

Responsible for the end to end sales process for engagement into large outsourcing opportunities.

The intent was to have co-responsibility for the Wellington business. Was initially engaged as Proect Director for a troubled project to replace the New Zealand fisheries Quota Management System.

Established a new business for Logica in New Zealand. This grew from me as first employee to a team of over 60. Won the international award for most successful new start up in Logica globally. Won major business in the banking sector, providing the Banks solution for Real Time Gross Settlement. Also the New Zealand electricity trading system, and the electricity trading system for Contact Energy.

Responsible for the lower North Island and South Island for a range of Bureau products and services Databank offered. This included Legal Accounting, for Building Societies and Accounting related products.

New Zealand distributor of technology

Was a shareholder Director in this Consultancy organisation. Expanded the business into other market sectors, most notably Software Development.
