My responsibilities as a Project Engineer, working closely with clients to develop commercial and residential projects in an environmentally and financially conscious manner, include:- Analyzing local & state regulations to maximize site efficiency through site layout, utility design, and stormwater treatment. Projects located in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.- Stormwater treatment system design using state and industry BMP's, proprietary treatment systems, and HydroCAD design software.- Local, state, and federal permits & reports: NHDES Shoreland Permit, NHDES Alteration of Terrain Permit, MA Wetlands Permitting, Maine Site Location of Development Application, MaineDEP Stormwater Permitting, and EPA Stormwater Pollution and Prevention Plan (SWPPP).Outside of my design and permitting experience I have worked as on-site construction inspector on behalf of several municipalities. This work required careful attention to project plans, communication and coordination between contractors and local officials, and regular inspection reports.
