Our Turn Social Media Network, Inc. (OTSMN, Inc.), is a new venture and what we believe that "a social media platform" should be. It was at the height of "privacy invasion" of other social media platforms, that Founder/CEO - James E. Whitfield, began building the idea "one-stop, social media platform" that protects its users data, information and privacy. We founded A plethora of many programs and services. But, most importantly, one that does not pry into our users lives, and uses them as marketing pawns. Albeit, we have to make money, we do so through affiliate marketing and providing paid advertising space to businesses.James E. Whitfield, as an ex-offender. I have been a staunch advocate for resources for prisoner reentry, after finding none existed 14.5 years ago, and in 2013, I founded Ex-Offenders Resource Network, Inc. as a gateway for those seeking resources. Globally recognized in 200 Countries Around the World. In 2015, our nonprofit was recognized in a 13 page article by the U.S. Department of Labor Statistics, as being the leading (new) nonprofit structured to help put people back to work. In 2016, I ran for Mayor of Blaine, Minnesota. Granted, I was not elected, but I learned a lot about politics from the experience. In 2017 - 2018, I met with a private investor (whom met with other investors) to discuss ways to address "chronic homelessness" across the United States wherein, my non-profit was eligible to receive surplus government properties, to wit, a 248 Acre property in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (suitable to house 3,400 individuals) spread over 39 Buildings; the second property 155 Acres located in Knoxville, Iowa, spread over 19 Buildings (would have housed 2,150 individuals), each with a Multi-State Jurisdictional Agreement). The former property we were denied for inclusion of homeless veterans. (I smacked my head on that rationale.), The latter property, was taken off the surplus property listings).
