The freedom to dream and the willingness required to pursue that dream have long defined our species. I am one who believes that everyone can build a future, given the proper tools and the knowledge of how to use them. However, I fear our current educational trend is creating a barrier for many of our students. These students are not being afforded a level playing field, either through poor economics, fractured social development, or wounded educational structures which serve to distract rather than reinforce quality learning. Our societal pursuit toward the fast and easily attainable in life is causing many to falsely believe, reinforced by a culture of immediate reward, that all their goals should come effortlessly. When they do not, the thinly made plans fall at their feet and the students are left confused and often hopeless. I hope to gain a better understanding of how I may help to build a future for those who need it most. To demonstrate realistic programs that lead to successful conclusions. For this end, I must learn all I can of what really works and add it to my tool box.To build a working tool box which I can easily share with my clients will be necessary to explore as many different methods as possible. In that way I will be more prepared to help , regardless of the circumstance or event. This will also help to instill in me and through me those I hope to aid a sense of calm; a sure knowledge that there is no challenge unassailable, no dream unreachable. In this way, I hope to give back to this world some of the value of my birth. The equipment necessary is already within reach. Anyone can use a paintbrush, but in the hands of an artist it gains new life.
