My role was focused on building and optimizing core components of Scale's bioinformatics pipeline for scRNAseq by split-pool combinatorial indexing. I led algorithm development on cell calling in datasets of unprecedented scale (>1 M cells), and helped to deploy our pipelines in academia and drug discovery.

I joined Curio as the second member of the bioinformatics team, helping to build the pilot infrastructure for the world's first out-of-the-box workflow for spatial biology at single-cell (μm) resolution. I worked on the initial pipelines for validating Slide-seqV2 (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41587-020-0739-1) in transcriptomic maps of the mouse.

My interest in single-cell sequencing began in Gary Bader's group (https://baderlab.org/), where I worked on liver cell atlasing in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). My research was focused on building an algorithmic framework to control alignment reference bias in unusual models of single-cell data (Marmota monax).
