During the past ten years I decided to stay at home and raise my children while supporting my husband's military career. While at home I was able to be successful in other areas. For instance, I earned an Associated Degree with high honors and am currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program majoring in Child Studies. I was also involved in several community-based projects. I volunteered as a youth leader in a group of fifteen teenager girls and coordinated activities and classes for this group in a weekly basis. Additionally, I have organized several group activities for youth such as field trips, special classes and celebrations. My experience makes me highly qualified to perform an excellent job in a variety of environments. I have language skills and am fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. As a mother of five I am very capable of working in a stressful environment, multitask and solve crisis. I also have highly creative skills, which help me to easily find solutions for otherwise difficult problems.
