• Coordination and supervision of the mission (accounting, treasury, audit procedures etc.) in compliance with the local legal obligations.• General & technical referent to support the projects in terms of MSF financial/accountancy standards, legal compliance, trainings and extended support on accountancy tools and software’s.• Responsible for the consolidation of the Brazil mission accountancy and liaison with Head Quarter.• Coordination and overseeing the payment of tax liabilities in compliance with the local laws.• Focal point related to accountancy between the Brazil partner section, delegate office and other stakeholders.

= Responsible for the financial management of the Civil Society Education Fund (CSEF) project in Latin American and the Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Haiti, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Honduras):• Support to the 5 Coalitions under the project, including training of local finance teams and implementation of processes.• Monitoring the implementation and use of Grants (budgeting and execution). • Continuous review of the Coalitions Internal Controls related to the financial & administrative processes and procedures.• Support in the development of manuals and procedures. • Review and approval of quarterly financial reports and statements on the use of funds received (budgets x actuals). • Cash flow preparation and monitoring (Excel).• Annual compliance visits (Internal Audit) to the 5 Coalitions with the purpose to review financial and administrative routine; accounting system; bank reconciliation; manuals and procedures; staff contracts; payroll; local taxes; legal local obligations.• Elaboration of Donor accountability reports.• Implementation of the Internal Audit Committees in the Coalitions structure.• External audit preparation and monitoring.= Finance focal person for the ActionAid International Rio office, responsible for:• Annual budget preparation, monitoring, and review; Forecasts.• Monthly analysis of the Management Accounts. • Monthly Intercompany review.• Preparation and review of the local payments.• Travel accountability review of the international team based in Rio office.

= Responsible for:• Account Receivables and Payables. • Cash Flow monitoring and review.• Annual Budget preparation; monitoring and control; Forecast. • Data entry in the accounting system. • Payroll monthly review (salaries, taxes, benefits, discounts).• Intercompany monitoring and review. • Bank reconciliation (Excell and system). • Preparation and presentation of the Monthly Management accounts reports. • Focal person to the bank (all contacts and issues).• Monthly monitoring of the exchange rates and closing foreign exchange operations.• Give support to the year end process of the Brazilian Local Accounts. = Responsible for the financial management of the Global Project Civil Society Education Fund.
