As a QA Lead and Automation engineer, I manage sprints, perform regression and smoke tests, handle the bug backlog, and work in the maintenance and migration of an automation framework.Also I've worked as a Product Owner, prioritized and managed the backlog for an internal project, ensuring alignment with business objectives. I also led the validation of payment integrations for mobile applications in a publishing company, coordinating the testing team and developing end-to-end test plans.

As part of Altimetrik Uruguay, I was the QA responsible for a Marketplace project within Salesforce’s Quality and Process Assurance. This offered different solutions, such as paid apps, components, and consulting services. Most of my time on this project was spent in the Commerce area, ensuring our payment platform and the integrations with different providers worked as expected. Tasks:- Creating and executing Test Cases (Smoke Tests, Exploratory Tests, Functional Test, Integration, Regression, API)- Reviewing code on unit/integration tests- Providing maintenance to different environments (Deploying to QA / Staging environments)- Reproducing/investigating customer reported defects, assisting Customer Support with SLA’s- Providing technical trainings to new joiners – making them aware of software architecture and used technologies- Participating in estimation process and demos for stakeholders- Creating documentation for features / environments

At Globant, I contributed to multiple projects, with the most significant being a long-term, cloud-based product lifecycle management system. As a member of the QA team, I worked closely within Scrum methodology to ensure the product's quality and adherence to agile practices.Key Responsibilities:- Developed and executed a variety of test types including smoke, exploratory, functional, integration, and regression tests.- Logged and reported incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimizing project disruption.- Provided insights and recommendations during the analysis of functional documents to improve system design.- Created and executed automated scripts to test various application functionalities.- Assisted Customer Support by resolving user queries and ensuring client satisfaction.- Wrote SQL queries to validate data integrity and support testing efforts.- Mentored and coached new QA team members, accelerating their onboarding and integration into the project.

As part of the QA team at Geocom, I contributed to a project within the Payment Media Industry, focused on POS (Point of Sale) software and customer loyalty programs. My role primarily involved working under the Waterfall methodology to ensure software quality and reliability.Key Responsibilities:- Conducted thorough analysis of software requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.- Designed, executed, and managed a wide range of tests, including smoke, exploratory, functional, integration, and regression (Black Box testing).- Installed and configured software in both testing and production environments, ensuring seamless deployment.- Authored detailed user manuals to guide end users in system functionality.- Represented the company in Colombia, leading user training sessions to ensure proper software utilization.
