Following the closing of the French office based in Paris, Bookassist offered me the opportunity to pursue my career in Madrid. I had the chance to learn a fourth language after French (native language), English (fluent) and German (professional skills). The idea to work in Spain was really exciting to me because I always wanted to live and to work in a foreign country. As I was the only remaining person from the French office, I have been in charge of many things regarding this market. It gave me the opportunity to handle many aspects of the business. On top of all previous tasks accomplished in Paris, I do: • Administrative management • Follow up and strategy advice to hotels about their online presence • Watching stocks and anticipating strategic needs • Improving relationships with clients following OBMs team recommendations• Working on emailing campaigns with the Head of Marketing (newsletters, etc.)• Get Google Analytics Certification for beginners (next levels on the way) • Meeting importants clients with the Operations Manager• Upselling activity with current clients • Publication of articles on Bookassist’s blog under Des O’Mahony’ supervision• Working closely with the Head of Sales for France about new products (Conversion Suite)• Competition strategy for some key competitors • Attending Spanish courses after daily work

At the end of my Master in Hotel Management, I found Bookassist’s position as Hotel Support Coordinator. This job gave me the possibility to discover, learn and perfectly understand the technology part of Hotel Industry. I spent 8 months in Paris and then 4 months working from home due to the closing of the French office in Paris. I was the only remaining person from the office. • Training hotels in the use of Bookassist's platforms • Setting up hotels on Bookassist’s platforms • Managing general support queries from hotel clients • Providing support for hotels using Bookassist's booking engine, channel manager, CMS website, etc. • Connectivity management between PMS, booking engines and channel manager • In charge of the production of daily reports regarding stocks • Helpline for the hotels and the Accounts Manager• Setting up of new offers, packages and ad hoc tasks in Bookassist's reservation system
