I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with experience of delivering care to a wide range of client groups within a variety of generic and specialist multi-disciplinary services, as well as managing large and complex projects within public and private sectors.I have strong communication, leadership and team working skills, and am passionate about developing and implementing strategies that focus on collective and community approaches to change. I work across all levels of the system to embed equity, social justice and liberatory principles into organisations and systems that recognise racism, along with all other forms of oppression, as a public health crisis.I value data to inform strategy and decisions. As part of my doctoral thesis, I carried out research involving all mental health trusts in the UK: I investigated what they were doing to improve the outcomes of Black service users at a clinical, policy and strategic level. I used my findings to put forward recommendations to develop equitable and inclusive strategies, policies and procedures at clinical, organisational and national levels.
