This model has been used as an essential tool for the management of working capital and for the implementation of the new investment plan of more than US$ 1 billion over the next 10 years. • Developed a risk management model and initiated the company’s hedging policy to minimize foreign currency risk exposure of US$ 850 million. Presented the results to the Board of Directors.• Analyzed the model and participated in the structuring process of the Marad project, a bond issued in the United States and guaranteed by U.S. Maritime Administration, totaling US$ 250 million.

• Led and implemented the creation of a new customer portfolio for the commodities desk, aiming to provide hedging services to clients in the soybean, corn, cotton and cattle markets, trading more than US$ 500 million in yearly volumes and positioning Credit Suisse as a top-5 player in the Brazilian commodities market.• Brought more than 20 important clients from different market segments through the development of close relationships with trading companies, agro-industries, producers, funds and banks.• Advised and executed hedging and investment strategies through the use of derivatives and structured products, offering risk management solutions and investment opportunities in the agribusiness sector.• Participated as an invited speaker in the world’s biggest cotton event held in Brazil, the 65th plenary meeting of the International Advisory Committee – ICAC (www.icac.org).
