I took the B Sc and the M Sc cum laude in mechanical engineering, both at the Università degli Studi di Salerno. Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering. After a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Salerno, i'm currently working in the automotive industry. During my M.Sc. studies I have enhanced my knowledge in power electronics (dc/dc-dc/ac) and energy generation systems working at the GREEN laboratory at the École nationale supérieure d'électricité et mécanique in Nancy (F). In addition, I spent a 6-month period during my Ph.D. studies working at the Center for Automotive Research in Columbus, OH. During my stay I have worked on the ARPA-e NEXTCar project: a federally funded $5M project involving research institutions and TIER 1 suppliers (DELPHI and TULA TECHNOLOGIES) aimed at exploiting all the latest automotive and ICT technologies (V2V, V2I, V2X, hybridization and the Dynamic Skip Fire system developed by TULA) in order to dramatically reduce fuel consumption of NTSHA 0-3 vehicles (traditional to partially automated).
