• Establish and implement short and long-term goals, strategic plans, policies and procedures for the Site aligned with Division and Group.• Translate Divisional business and Procurement objectives and targets to Category management teams and monitor related contribution.• Deliver on key objectives (Annual Operating Plan - AOP), delivery, quality, service, cost, innovation, and growth commitments.• Coordinate long range strategies with the business partners across the Site and implement plans.• Partner with Category Managers, R&D, Engineering to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage.• Coordinate business projects, provide inputs to make-or-buy and footprint decisions, supplier selection and supplier management for new product and vendor transitions, monitor the execution and communicate results to Leadership Team.• Ensure alignment with business colleagues within the Division and Group.• Serve as the point of contact and ensure the implementation of Enterprise Processes such as Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk and Supplier Management.• Collect supplier capability for current and future product portfolio as input for supplier scouting.• Drive and track compliance for indirect materials.• Use ‘scouting approach’ to influence R&D and Commercial partners earlier in NPI process, monitor product pipeline, support product platforming.• Consolidate, analyze and report on divisional procurement metrics for business reviews.• Ensure Procurement value contribution to business and support Division initiatives.• Engage with supplier leadership to support the Category Management team and Division in achieving Thermo Fisher objectives related to quality, cost, innovation, growth and compliance.• Support the development and implementation of common processes, standardized work, use of tools and technologies.
