About Facundo Ariel Pedemonte
My Goal is to build a better, healthier World through bringing meaningful, personalized bioengineering solutions to the operating theatre.I specialize in Patient-Specific Technology for Surgery. In the last 11 years I have assembled and then led a team that works hand in hand with surgeons to solve medical problems by means of patient-specific solutions. This has been replicated in all the most relevant medical institutions in my country and neighbouring ones. We also developed a cooperation model based on Trans-disciplinary Innovation in which surgeons and engineers mutually benefit from the interaction, giving birth to new approaches and uses of technology.Another important role has been to continuously search and integrate technology into adequate workflows in order to improve the outcome of our cases, involving technical aspects but also important factors like communication between surgeons and engineers.
