On Air Studio Tape operator in the 2 Studios at the original Foxtel building in Pyrmont.The job entailed running 4 digi machines for on air Studio records,Live Crosses and events, usually recording different feeds whilst rolling studio elements and in show content.

I Joined foxtel as a Part time Videotape Operator about 3 weeks after jumping 'off the boat' from New Zealand, and went full time shortly after.The role was a 24 Hour rostered shift, and involved the transfer, ingest, compile and recording between, off and on to Various formats like 1 Inch (remember them)Pneuematic, Dv, Digi,Sp and VHS.

I mix /design all audio for The XYZ Music Channels on the Foxtel Platform - Channel [V], [V] Hits, Max and the Country Music Channel.The content and style and requirements vary between the channels.. I voice and mix promos,Compose audio and sound design for our graphic packages, Show titles, I.d's, Longform shows and interstitials for all 4 channels, most of which we produce here at XYZ.

I have 'lent my tonsils' to all 4 Music channels on our platform on a regular basis - from Tour presents spots, to promos and Channel ideas and image spots.I even manage to not sound like a Kiwi these days!

Television presenter for Auckland, New Zealand's Music channel Max TV, Monday to Friday, 430 to 7. I kind of 'fell into' the job - but had a Ball and got to Interview some personal heroes of mine - Loved every second of it!We had some big plans and ideas, But MTV bought the frequency of the Channel to take us out of the market...before it went arse up a few months later!check out the showreel link for a chuckle...

A role based in Auckland, New Zealand for the Music Chanel, Max tv - Due to the Budget and size of the channel, you would have a Log of all the content On-air for your shift ( including promos and Music clips) and roll them in order of your rundown, cycling through 3 Digi machines and On Air action - and there was a locked off camera in the studio which you would 'change the set' behind, depending on the show.Awesome TV on a budget!
