Fadzai started as an Accountant 1(Associate) at PwC in 2009, where she was part of the Consumer and Industrial Products and Services (CIPS) Assurance Division. Fadzai was a team member of a number of external audit teams and her annual audit of 5 (different) large companies resulted in her obtaining experience in various industry sectors, namely; Automotive (Manufacturing), Pharmaceutical (Retail), Transport (Rail and Aviation); and Hospitality. Fadzai also conducted audits on other smaller unlisted clients. As an associate Fadzai was responsible for completing predetermined audit procedures.Fadzai became an Accountant 3 and Accountant 4 (Senior Associate), in 2011 and 2012 respectively, at which time she was a team Senior. Her responsibilities graduated to include;- Planning external audit engagements - Performing risk assesment procedures on audit engagements including developing appropriate audit procedures to address related risks- Performing and concluding on control design and effectiveness, and tests of detail.- Supervision and review of work performed by junior team members including assisting with performance appraisals.- Finanacial Statement preparation and/or review of financial statement compliance with International Finanacial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Fadzai's passion for learning led her to take on a role, while at PwC, as a tutor for Accounting beginners at the University of South Africa (Port Elizabeth Learning Centre) where her responsilbilities included; - Preparing for, and fascilitating accounting tutorials- Creating an effective adult learning environment and attending to student queries- Working with Academic Head in addressing learner issues
