• I manage the Technical Writing team in the Documentation Department at Amplify, consisting of two full-time writers and one part time writer. Under my supervision, the technical writing team writes and copy edits.
• Manage a critical custom documentation project for a multimillion dollar statewide product implementation; coordinating all information gathering and project planning, as well as writing and developing all.
• Build and support the team by hiring new employees; manage the hiring process by working with recruiters and interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Perform end-user documentation needs assessments within product verticals and work with product management to determine priorities and milestones.
• Mentor and train writers in Amplify style, voice, and branding, reviewing written materials for adherence to style guidelines and ease of readability. Provide technical writing support as necessary, including sharing.
• Communicate and collaborate with teams across Amplify, including product development, engineering, marketing, and training, and disseminate relevant information to my team.
