Fahim Khan forms part of the Reed & Mackay Leadership Team and as Product Development Director, Fahim has overall responsibility for the development and support of Reed & Mackay’s proprietary technology products. He has played a key role in the development of R&M/Book, Reed & Mackay’s online booking tool, mobile booking tool and traveller app, R&M/Mobile, leading business intelligence platform, R&M/Insights, risk management product, R&M/Protect and R&M/Portal. Fahim’s role encompasses client and prospect engagement to ensure all products are in line with market requirements.

As Head of Online, I was responsible for leading the Product Management, Product Support and Product Implementation teams. Key achievements include;• Product Development of viatiQ, Reed & Mackay’s proprietary self-booking tool, now one of the leading corporate self-booking tools.• Product Development of the R&M App, Client Portal and iQ Protect.• Led the transition of 3rd party booking tools to viatiQ, Reed & Mackay’s newly launched Corporate Booking Tool – exceeding targets with over 90% of all Online transactions now processed through viatiQ.• Improved the efficiency of the Online Support team by 292%.• Improved incident management by implementing new tracking and reporting features that led to a 48% improvement in viatiQ booking efficiency.

As Product Manager I was responsible for bringing viatiQ, Reed & Mackay’s proprietary booking tool, to market. This included ideation, scope definition, competitor analysis, testing and client/prospect engagement. As well as scoping and testing of the product I was responsible for project managing the roll-out of viatiQ by collaborating with a variety of teams including Online, Sales & Account Management and Pricing.

As Online Product Manager I managed R&M’s relationships with the 3rd Party Self-booking Tools which included KDS, Concur, GetThere & Evolvi. This role required a good technical understanding on each tool as I would filter relevant product information to both the Online Support team and Sales & Account Management.

Was responsible for setting up the proposition for TBTA, creating launch collateral and generating starting revenue.Propositions built for TBTA included;- Creating a Sustainable Travel Programme through the use of data, smart messaging and building and implementing new technologies within the organisations- Launchpad - helping companies work through their challenges in getting people travelling again post-COVID.- Bespoke Data Analytics - working with clients to bring together multiple data sets available to them and building out analytics views that provided a holistic view into their travel programmes and helped answer key operational challenges
