Residential Behavior Specialist
CurrentMajor Responsibilities are:1. Participate in the day-to-day operations of the residential environment;2. Conduct Functional Behavior assessments and develop function-based behavior support plans using evidence-based methods;3. Develop program support based on evidence-based practices and curriculum-based assessments;4. Coaching and supporting the residential team to increase socially significant behavior and achieve individualized goals, as well as provide consultation, teaching, and training opportunities to interdisciplinary team members;5. Communicate important behavioral information to parents and multidisciplinary team professionals; prepare behavioral support summaries for response to intervention;6. Provide consultation, teaching, and training opportunities to interdisciplinary team members along with providing behavioral and therapeutic services to a wide range of clientele;7. Involvement in all aspects of crisis management until resolution; 8. Communicate important behavioral information to parents/guardians and multidisciplinary team professionals and create/utilize databases.
