As a senior researcher at Bell Labs, I explored how opportunistic sensing (mobile, residential and social network) can be used to form a better understanding of human behavior pattern and to develop activity models that can radically improve our experience with pervasive technology. Together with my academic collaborators, I also worked on the development.

At TU Delft, I am studying how end-users can be engaged in the design lifecycle actively, continuously reshaping the sensory application behaviour in a data-informed fashion.

At Lancaster, my research explored the implication of Situated Flows to model human activities in structured workplaces. I have designed and developed a software architecture for flow driven interaction in an instrumented hospital environment. In addition, I have also investigated what kind of user interfaces are best suitable for such flow driven.

At Waseda University, I developed two software Infrastructures FedNet and Prottoy for building distributed pervasive computing applications. FedNet, culminated in my Ph.D. Dissertation, adopted a document-centric design using RESTful approach to modularize system components and to support building end-user interaction tools seamlessly. I designed a number of Web 2.0 solutions in the domain of education, automobile, and telecommunication industries for ITA.

At Nokia, I developed a gamepad on ARM platform, wrote Bluetooth and USB OTG Device Driver for Nokia Terminals, ported Linux Kernel to several Custom Platform Boards (ARM/XScale/SH) and contributed from Nokia in the OpenMax Consortium by developing Integration Layer (IL) Components on top of DSP for OpenMAX Multimedia Middleware.

At IUT, I lectured Sophomore Level Undergraduate Courses (Object Oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structure).
