I was responsible for founding the FSM Electrical Estimating Inc in 2006 (Federally Incorporated). My current role involves providing vision and leadership to a wide range of electrical contractors to increase their annual sales volumes. This involves directing the estimation, management and operations within a P & L set up; developing ISO 9001 procedures for project management and estimating; supervising senior executives of electrical / general contractors; revamping the labor structure of clients; securing new clients and maintaining existing ones; preparing detailed estimates; preparing life cycle, constructability, design review, risk and damage control reports as well as assisting clients in scheduling, hiring, invoicing, labor management and conflict resolutions.

I was instrumental in growing the company from a $ 20 million to a $ 70 million one in less than 5 years. Produced detailed, timely and result-oriented estimates that helped achieve the yearly divisional sales target. Emphasized and implemented production of full estimates, reducing the risk of company liabilities to minimum levels. Partnered with the appropriate suppliers / manufacturers and formulated winning strategies for the company. Succeeded in maintaining repeat business from high profile clients while consistently negotiating quoted materials with the suppliers to prepare competitive pricing. My major projects included estimating Tennis Canada (Rexall Center), GTAA Area Hanger 9, and Tribrik Ware house.

At Schneider I was responsible for leading a team of 5 estimators and together we were instrumental in producing the largest distribution / control quote worth $ 9 million for the new terminal of the Pearson airport. Introduced a unique and fundamental approach in the production of large and complex quotations that was later adopted at the national level. Maintained liaison between all concerned departments of the organization and that accelerated the success of complex quotations. Successfully managed multiple projects up to $20 million per year and also initiated co-ordination studies, infra-red testing, witness testing, harmonic analysis, commissioning and on-site testing.
