About Faizan Umar
Mufti Faizan umar is a graduate of Jamia tul Hasanain Faisalabad and he did his specialization in Islamic Trade and Finance (تخصص فی فقہ المعاملات المالیہ والعلوم الاداریہ) from Jamia tur Rasheed Karachi. He completed his BSc with majors in Mathematics and Statistics from Bahauddin Zakariaya University (BZU). He also studied fundamentals of accounting and finance at Karachi Institute of Management Sciences (KIMS). Besides, he is also a research Scholar at University of Karachi, pursuing his Ph.D working on Islamic banking products.He has a diversified experience of serving in Islamic Finance, Product development, Sukuk Structuring, SCR of Sukuk, Takaful, Shariah Audit and Shariah consultation along with teaching, training, research and many more in academia & Halal food. He is currently reporting and working in the supervision of Mufti Ehsan Waquar Ahmad (Chairman Shariah Board NBP, Member Shariah Advisory Committee (SAC) SECP ) from march 2017.
