As a highly motivated and hardworking Biotechnology student and professional, I am committed to advancing my knowledge in the field and exploring new avenues to contribute to the betterment of society. With an exceptional academic record and sound understanding of laboratory safety procedures and protocols, I am dedicated to participating in events and research work relevant to my field.Currently pursuing an M.Phil in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Khyber Medical University, I am keen to leverage my knowledge of courses such as Human Genetics, Cancer Genetics, Molecular Cell Biology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Research Techniques to carry out research that brings about positive change. My previous experiences have included volunteering at the PHRL Covid-19 Lab, working in the Cancer Cell Culture Oncomedicine laboratory, and working as a job in Islamabad Diagnostic Centre. As a University Research Assistant, I was responsible for developing and implementing performance improvement strategies and carrying out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.I am also proud to have gained a wealth of experience in various other roles, including research intern at Khyber Medical University, student intern at Hayatabad Medical Complex Hospital, and student intern at Khyber Teaching Hospital. I have even spent two years as a volunteer tutor, teaching Biology and Chemistry to grades 9th,10th, and FSc.Furthermore, I am the author of several research publications, including "Molecular Genetic Analysis of the Autosomal Recessive Non-Syndromic Inherited Retinitis Pigmentosa," "Targeting Neuroinflammatory Pathways to Treat Diabetes-Induced Neuropathy by 6-Hydroxyflavanone: An Old yet Effective Approach," and "COVID-19: A Comparative Analysis of Common Mutations in Variants of Concerns."I am a recipient of several awards, including the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Merit and Need Based Scholarship, the Scottish-Pakistan Scholarship for Women, and the Trainee Medical Officer (TMO) award by ORIC Khyber Medical University. I have also been awarded for my performance at the university and college levels and for my public speaking skills.With certification in safe handling of high consequence pathogens, biosecurity awareness raising initiative, and participation in several conferences and courses, including "3rd International Public Heath Conference," "Symposium On Introduction to the Biological Weapons Convention," and "One Month Course On Basics of Bioinformatics on Genomic Data," I am well-equipped to take on new challenges.
