My job was to adjust pet insurance claims by being detail-oriented with a logical mindset evaluating medical records from veterinary hospitals to determine what claims are eligible for reimbursement. I also provided customer service to our policyholders that have questions about their claims. Other duties include handling emails and faxes in a fast-paced environment and identifying and investigating suspicious claims and using my veterinary knowledge to adjust claims as well. My proudest accomplishment includes being able to process and adjust a high number of claims in a short period of time with a less than 1% error ratio and providing efficient customer service to our policyholders.
