In this capacity, I was responsible for conducting research on clean energy initiatives while focusing on the Clean Energy Investment Accelerator (CEIA). I gathered data from authoritative sources, identified data trends, analyzed the global clean energy landscape, identified opportunities for scaling clean energy deployment in emerging markets, and communicated findings through reports and presentations. Some of my notable contributions include:• Led the development of an article on evaluating energy transition opportunities in Industrial Parks across Asian countries, including China, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam by researching, writing, and coordinating with global research teams• Researched, analyzed, and reported on six companies' projected oil and gas production, emissions reduction goals, and clean energy investments, assessing alignment with IEA's sustainable development goals and the net zero scenario.• Developed a clean heat literature database for the team by categorizing over 30 references, 20 case studies, and 15 tools by technology, geography, sector, and temperature range into a master spreadsheet.• Investigated historical and current green financing instruments and programs in the ASEAN region to identify opportunities for industrial decarbonization initiatives.• Crafted pitch document with insights on the clean heat market landscape and pilot projects conducted with NIKE's top-tier suppliers in Vietnam and Indonesia; assessed the company's interest in launching further clean heat initiatives.

I supported the creation of monthly newsletters by curating updates and news items on global, China state, and provincial-level energy policies, organizing information, reviewing content, sharing insights, and incorporating feedback.Some of my key achievements include:• Played a pivotal role in the launch of the CEMF website by curating, translating, and scrutinizing over 100 previous and ongoing projects, publications, events, models, and databases.• Created four monthly CEMF Newsletters enriched with in-depth research on global and China-specific energy policies, developmental trends, and academic publications related to energy models.

As a Research Intern, I was responsible for assisting in the publication of research reports by collecting and compiling data on G20's CO2 emissions and government-controlled banks' investment in overseas coal projects, analyzing G20's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), reviewing scholarly articles, organizing energy policies in Excel, and providing data visualization during weekly meetings. My key contributions include:• Drafted and published 10 opinion articles on global energy policies and the advancement of renewable energy, securing over 2K views.• Engaged in the publication of a 20+ page annual research report scrutinizing NDCs of G20 countries to uncover climate opportunities specific to China in preparation for COP26.
