Chief Technician
CurrentManaging Test equipment support on various production lines ensuring smoothproduction flow processes.· Coordinate with production planning and integrate Production Test Equipmentinto the Company’s SAP MES system.· Liaise with Production department providing technical input on productiontesting and continuously support of deployed Production Test Equipment.· Deploy, commission and repurpose Test Equipment on the production Line.· Oversee and responsible for Fault Finding, Repairing, Maintenance andPreventative Maintenance of Test Equipment.· Design, develop and manufacture/ manage manufacture of engineering andproduction test equipment hardware meeting engineering specifications.· Design and develop Automated Test Software for Production Test Equipmentand Test Software for Engineering test equipment.· Drive projects on development, improvement and upgrading of existing TestEquipment.· Assisting and collaborating with Engineering, providing key technical input withregards to testing of various subsystems (initiators, navigation and guidancesystems, servo performance testing amongst others) during development phase.· Creation of Technical documentation for all test hardware and softwaredeveloped according to the company’s directive.· Guiding and assisting junior colleagues with their projects/ tasks ensuring theirknowledge and expertise develop.
