Responsible for receiving and sorting a variety of patient specimens, logging patient data onto laboratory computer systems, tracking specimens between hospital sites.Key responsibilities include • Receive and sort samples prioritising in order of urgency and according to location (A&E, in-patients, GPs) • Load and unload pre-analytical equipment including centrifuges, as and when required • Uphold key relationships with trust staff, clinicians and external customers (GPs and hospitals) • Scan, photocopy and file patient request forms • Assist customer support and give laboratory result by telephone and email when authorised to do so

Responsible for ensuring all properties and information were up to date on the website and internal systems whilst also supporting the marketing department in the day-to-day activities.Key responsibilities include: • Supporting the marketing department in the day-to-day activities and general admin duties • Managing and monitoring supply chain database of properties. • Preparing photos for use on the web site by cropping, resizing or modifying. • Maintaining relationship with property suppliers over email and by phone. • Ensuring all properties & information are up to date on our website and internal system. • Writing all property descriptions and ensuring that they are well written and accurate. • Formatting spreadsheets, presentations and documents to adhere to marketing standards • Loading new properties in accordance with agreed turnaround times • Assisting sales department with relevant marketing material.

Responsible for taking customer orders, answering phone orders, taking payments, packaging orders, cleaning the kitchen and utensils.Key responsibilities include: • Answering customer’s calls and guided them and managed their requests. • Sorting general complaints and issues of customers over the phone. • Performing other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.

I assisted in customer services whilst working at the main help desk. A significant amount of my time was spent in the children’s area of the library, supporting them in their own reading or otherwise reading to them myself. Key responsibilities include: • Helping stack, organize and send books for delivery, create folders for courses held at the library, send letters and general admin duties.
