An engineering evangelist at heart with a profound fascination for system analysis, my interests span across the contours of technology, economy, and society. My journey started with an early interest in computers and IT technologies, which directed my steps toward a career in computer engineering. The experiences gained from numerous IT projects solidified my passion, leading me to explore the intriguing worlds of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering.This pursuit culminated in a joint PhD in Medical Science and Medical Technology, earned from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institutet. This journey of blending my enthusiasm for technology with healthcare sparked a passion for medical innovation.Currently, I wear multiple hats as an Assistant Professor in Medical Technology and Digital Health at Karolinska Institutet, a Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and the CEO and co-founder of Wergonic. In the latter role, I led a promising venture spun off from our research projects. Wergonic's mission is to innovate in the field of ergonomic risk assessment and work-technique training, with a specific focus on mitigating risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders.As an evangelist for digital transformation and innovation, I am enthusiastic about spreading the word about these essential topics. I often write about artificial intelligence, digital transformation, medical technology, and entrepreneurship, intending to influence technology and healthcare's present and future landscapes.
