My immediate supervisor is CTO, and I'm currently handle 6 people with cross-country team members (Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian)Here are some of my day-to-day work:- Improving the existing process in QA, as well as building SOP that haven't setup yet- Collaborate with other Engineering Leaders to improve software development process- Mentoring and developing QA team members- Migrating our previous test automation tools to Katalon Studio- Define test script architechture to be scalable while keeping them to be easy to understand (by gathering feedback from my team)- Setting up improvement planning and QA Team strategies- Setup OKR for QA team- Audit, review, and updating the existing documentations to have better clarity and easier to understand

Labster is an education platform that focused to deliver education for science with fun way of 3d interaction. Their HQ are located in Copenhagen, Denmark; while their employees are spread around the world, with various time zone. This company implement "Holacracy" organizational model; Basically it's an organization without "formal structural" or conventional bureaucracy things. So you can freely talk to anyone without any barrier unless the are accountabilities / domains that require you to get some acknowledge with other circles.At my fist 5 months, I was working as a Content QA, and here's my accountabilities:- Testing and improving the quality (user interaction) of new and existing simulations- Creating, maintaining, and following testing strategy and quality checklist- Communicating and coordinating testing strategy and testing progression with stakeholders- Coordinating the release of simulations following the respective procedureI have other roles here:- Recruitment Buddy (part of recruitment for content QA)- Documentation Gardener (Maintain content QA's documentation)Few months later, I've been rotated to other squad, called as a "Content Tools", and I'm part of SQA there under Engineering Platform team.My works more likely the same, but with more specific work like:- Testing new feature and existing feature- Developing Test document (which it's still from scratch)I also have other role due there's no maintainer for these:- Documentation Gardener (Maintain Platform QA's documentation)I also research the potential for doing an automation test with Labster's Internal tools for my own project to reduce my regular manual test.Reason for leaving: Layoff that impact globally.

Here is my daily life as QA Lead in Mamikos:- Create and manage QA SOP / Standard (bug reporting, QA progress, etc), and testing strategies- Coordinate with developers, PM, for bug fixes- Communicate with Customer service and follow up technical issues internally to engineering team- Suggesting release / update plan for each platform- Develop and manage QA team- Analyse and suggesting optimisation for Mamikos product- Analyse Mamikos development flow in general, and suggest things related with Product / Tech department.- Hiring SQA and QA Engineers- Research and learning about QA best practice implementationI was one of earlier QA member in Mamikos, and help this company growing and building our QA Organization. I also help cross division to optimize the JIRA and Confluence usage.During my last month of working in Mamikos, I hands on implementation integration with Zendesk x Jira, including creating a specific project to integrate and customize them. So people in Customer Service can create ticket to our Jira, then we (in engineering) just take follow up action according to the Jira tickets that created by CS team.I work with user perspective, developer, and a business owner at the same time. And I never being shy to share issues that I found to any level below, even to top management level. When there was a problem found, I focus on finding the best solution for related parties.Reason for leaving: Personal health issue and some confidential issue.

We used marketplace and social media for marketing.Here's some what I did on my business:- Research and analysis about what I sell (is it worthed or not, how's the market price for these products, etc)- Learn about Import product, obtain product from the Factory, also purchasing the product with negotiations- Create our own catalog and photo product- Handling package, sort items, etc- And many more that I can't tell in details, but I fell free to share about this directly if you want to know what's I've been throughI stopped my business due to my workload priority, but I casually still learn and get insight as a seller perspective, including the Digital Marketing strategies, Marketplace seller's updates.

My job was to create test plan, test case, and also testing for the new and current feature on product. Our product is website based Hotel tech system information / Property Management System (PMS). This company implement Agile-Scrum in daily development process. My first impression for JIRA tools was started here, and only few weeks, my CTO trusted me to improve the JIRA flow. I was actively improved the company development strategies from production division. I was known as an “Extreme test case creator and executor”. I also learn and practice deeper about Automation Testing here. On the last days before the company shutted down, I have an external project for testing customized Wordpress theme for “Runsystem” company.Reason for leaving: Company shutted down.

Performing Quality Assurance on Gameloft's product (Mobile App Games). Working together from people around the world. We have some classified test case, and standard to make people happy and enjoyed with our games. I was very active to share opinion about bugs, and I often to share my knowledge about the test case with my team. Also, I became a person in charge of Social Network Service for testing purpose. Not only that, I work on creating Automated test case testing method to optimize testing time. Few weeks before I go from this office, I became a trainer for my team to share experience on Automation Tool. Reason for leaving: Looking for "startup culture" experience, and learn for more wider experience in software QA.
