As a technical lead I help the PepsiCo eCommerce Supply Chain Data Engineering team (what a mouthful!) gather data to make impactful business decisions that deliver value to our b2b and b2c customers.On any given day I might be: - Conducting Technical Design/Code review - Interacting with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business OKRs - Developing data pipelines (typically involving Airflow, Python, and SnowFlake) - Implementing monitoring, alerting, or data lineage tracking. - Ensuring the quality of our data lake & data platform - Aligning organization level initiatives for Senior Engineers across multiple teams.

My work on the Reliability Payments team was to ensure that all our data driven operations were running in an efficient, scalable, and maintainable manner as they pertain to insurance authorizations and claims.During my time at Clover Health I was on a team that integrated a new authorization processing engine into our system. This 2 year long project saved the company millions of dollars a year in contract costs and gave better data insights.My responsibilities included: * Writing various ETL tasks composed in Airflow (additionally leveraging our in house orchestration framework). * Implementing vendor integrations/data synchronization tools to keep hundreds of thousands thousands of records up to date. * Building web services and reporting tools for our insurance/medical operations teams with both pro-active and reactive strategies. * Developing standards for various aspects of our platform architecture.
