Associate Manager
Responsibilities:- Procure all materials and equipment according to the demand and projects in a cost-effective and transparent manner in line with BBL.- Evaluate supplier performance and responsiveness.- Ensuring all Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, RFQ and RFPs are tracked from point of planning and request through to final receipt and preparing the RFQ and RFP relevant documents, as well as reports including tender reports for procurement & tender committee review.- Participation in evaluation of bids and proposals and make sure the bids evaluation report, technical evaluation, minutes of negotiations and negotiated contract in selection of consultants contain all the facts and information required to justify the recommendations made in the report.- Assisting with the preparation of contracts and amendments of contracts when needed.- Constantly search the market for new suppliers that may provide better service or value for money and assisting in the strategic sourcing for frequently purchased items to ensure agreements with the suppliers and service providers.-Ensuring procurement files are accurate, records are in compliance to BBL procurement policies, all soft copies, and hard copies of procurement files are accessible and manageable by auditors.- Preparation and submit payments of suppliers to finance on a timely manner along with ensuring the non-winning suppliers receive notification from BBL about the status of their bids.- Conduct duties in accordance with the BBL Supply Chain Code of Conduct through ORACLE EBS.Achievements:- Procured the complete set up of 03 nos. of new ATM booths at different places for BBL with a reduction of 10% of the total budget.- Set up a reordering quantity for inventory items to avoid the stock out situation, which increased the total efficiency of the system.- Made a number of Unit Price Confirmations for various items, which saved approx. 20% of the total budget value.
