Jim Ray is a third-generation Transportation Industry entrepreneur, programmer, and transportation lawyer. Jim combined this diverse experience to found his first technology-based logistics company on January 1, 2000. Over the next decade, he built several brokerage and trucking companies, the largest of which he sold in 2009 to the financiers of Groupon.com. In 2011, Jim co-founded FASTPORT to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of the great American trucker. FASTPORT’s core product, JobMaps™, better matches drivers to trucking companies, providing great careers for drivers and growth for trucking companies. In 2013, the US Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes Foundation chose FASTPORT’s technology and leadership to help transition 50,000 veterans into great careers with great employers in the Transportation Industry.
