Fatima is a partner in the Banking & Finance Practice Group of Baker McKenzie and a member of Baker McKenzie's Global Restructuring & Insolvency Steering Committee. She is mainly experienced in a broad range of banking and finance matters, but also has a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Working in the market since 2007, Fatima has advised clients on various high-profile transactions in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and other parts of the Gulf region. She is recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers Global, Legal 500 and IFLR.She is a co-founder of and, effective December 2017, the president of the board of trustees of Omneyat - a charitable foundation that promotes evidence based practice in the treatment of learning disabilities and enables financing access to therapy for underprivileged children with autism, ADD/ADHD and other developmental delays in Bahrain: www.omneyat.org. Effective October 2022, Fatima was appointed as a non-executive board member in the aviation assets of the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Gulf Air Group Holding Company, Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company.
