I am responsible for managing and feeding out metadata. From day one, I supported extensively with the integration of a new publishing system to the company in addition to making sure my role responsibilities were not neglected.I liaised with both colleagues and international publishers to ensure correct design files were sent on schedule for translation. This was critical to hitting key deadlines of sending print files for production of titles.I worked towards a Level 3 qualification in the Publishing Assistant apprenticeship scheme. This included submitting work-based projects and portfolios. I will have my final assessment in July.I trained fellow colleagues on using the publishing system (Biblio) after only six months in the role. I carried out day to day responsibilities such as stock replenishment, managing the company website and any other variety of tasks required to support the wider team.

I completed a projected centred around Earth Day which focused on celebrating Trade In achievements. I learnt how to extract sales figure data from SAP and communicated this information to the wider team on a weekly basis. I shared my knowledge from this project to the team for a recent Trade In initiative.
