Drafted and reviewed Wireline Competition Bureau and Commission-level policy proposals and rules, and advised the Chief, Wireline Competition Bureau on the same. I also coordinated with the Chairman's Office, other Commissioner offices, divisions, and senior leadership at the agency for all things WCB. Additionally, served as the point of contact for the Bureau’s circulation items and congressional correspondenceAdditionally, I managed the FCC's "Protecting Against National Security Threats to the Communications Supply Chain" proceeding, and oversee the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program, and interfaced with other federal agencies on related issues. I participated on the Department of Homeland Security's Information and Communications Technology Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force, as well as on the Task Force Tiger Team on behalf of the FCC. I also served as the Designated Federal Officer and oversee the Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee. The BDAC provided advice and recommendations for the Commission on how to accelerate the deployment of high-speed Internet access.

Worked on rulemakings and other proceedings regarding provisions of the Communications Act requiring that the charges, practices, classifications, and regulations of common carriers providing interstate and foreign telecommunications services are just and reasonable. This includes competitive pricing policies and rules for the retail and wholesale interstate rates charged by price-cap carriers and rate-of-return carriers; the intercarrier compensation rates that carriers charge each other; and regulations concerning the rates carriers charge for business data services.

Appointed as board member to advise Miami University on its efforts to strengthen and develop the Miami University brand in Washington, DC and on the East Coast. In addition, we assist Miami University's Inside Washington program in support of its vision, mission, goals, and needs.

Elected Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees. Oversaw the FCBA Foundation programs which donated over $300,000 to support local District of Columbia high school students, law students, and law school summer stipends for students volunteering at public service institutions.

Elected as a trustee of the FCBA Foundation. The FCBA Foundation is a non-profit charitable and educational organization under § 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. I concentrated my practice on utility and telecommunications matters including a variety of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters involving the Federal Communications Commission and state regulatory commissions. Prior to joining the firm, I worked for a well-known communications law firm representing and advising members of the communications industry, including a Fortune 100 company, on spectrum, wireline, wireless, media, and disability law issues. Justin Faulb advised clients on a variety of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters involving the Federal Communications Commission and state regulatory commissions. Prior to joining Lampert, O’Connor & Johnston, Justin was an associate with Wood, Maines & Nolan, P.C., an Arlington, Virginia, firm that provides regulatory, transactional and strategic counsel to the telecommunications and media sectors, and served as a law clerk to Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein at the FCC. While in law school, Justin completed the Certificate program at the Institute for Communications Law Studies and was the president of the Communications Law Students Association, Deputy Vice Chancellor of the National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition, the Chair for the 2008 Commlaw Conspectus Symposium, and a member of Moot Court. Justin received the Dean’s Award and Extra Mile Award for his “extraordinary dedication and outstanding service to the law school community.”
