My background in recreation, education and environmental management were an asset to me as I effectively led a team of four educators and a college intern. Both passive and active recreational opportunities were utilized to instruct 25 children ranging in age from 5-10 years. Multiple teaching methods were utilized to help children succeed; regardless of their previous educational or behavioral differences. Employing adaptive and creative methodology in the workplace was crucial to assist staff in resolving conflicts, building morale, creating lesson plans, maintaining finances and developing positive relationships with parents, coworkers, educators, management and school personnel.

Haved worked for three government agencies and two non profits during numerous summer sessions. Excavation experience include both work with historic artifacts and prehistoric fossils. Worked six summers as a volunteer for the Buffalo Museum Mastodon Excavation in Byron, New York. Worked as a government archeologist GS 5 level for two summers (6 months) at the Statue of Liberty Park, Martin Van Buren National Park, Theadore Roosevelt National Park in New York and Weir Farm in Conneticut. Worked as a Student Conservation Associate for one summer (3 months) at Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument in Idaho. Past preservation experience included cleaning and categorizing historic artifacts at the Statue of Liberty National Park in New York and the North East Cultural Resource Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. Prehistoric fossils were collected and cleaned at Hagerman Horse National Monument in Idaho and artifacts to include Native American projectile points, scapers, and hammer stones were categorized and placed in an educational exhibit at the Vestal Historical Museum.Past experience included work as both a team player and independent worker and have worked in adverse working conditions while presenting a professional attitude to both visitors and colleagues.
