I am a quality obsessed food and beverage business owner with seventeen years experience of owning and operating a multi-site pub restaurant business focused solely on fresh food and excellent quality cooking.Being a business owner is about far more than one role, although operations has been my chief responsibility, I multi-task across all business functions and build effective and mutually beneficial relationships with everyone throughout.My approach is process-driven to ensure consistency whilst always listening to others to affect positive change. Having successfully sold this business (Innjoy Ltd) to a larger multiple operator, I have extensive on-trade experience and a wealth of operational management skills in negotiation, strategy, marketing, sales and customer service.BACKGROUNDSet up in 2001 with the purchase of an Enterprise Inns leasehold to The Lamb, in rural Wiltshire. We grew the business, which was taking less than £700 per week to trading at well in excess of £10k per week inside 12 months. In 2004 Innjoy took on its second venue, The Vine in Hambledon, Hampshire and turnover was doubled inside a year to more than £600k per annum.In January 2008 Innjoy took on the leasehold interest of a closed Marstons PLC site, The Dorchester Arms in Hook. The restaurant was renamed The Hogget and following a £330k refurbishment was reopened that April and has grown exponentially since. With only 65 covers it now turns over in excess of £850k pa and has seen growth of 5/10% year-on-year with high GP. Other businesses include The Exchequer, Fleet, Hampshire.
