In addition to general practice experience, I have specific knowledge within the specialist care, retail and education building sector. I have also developed special expertise in designing for people with specific disabilities and access related issues. I have provided access consultant services in several large schemes, working as part of the design team or directly for the client. I have developed, in conjunction with the National Building Specification (NBS), guidance and standard specification clauses on access issues. These are used by architects and other construction professionals, nationwide.Specialties: I have acted as lead architect on a wide range of projects, of varying size and functions. This includes extensive experience of working with legal teams on the required adaptations to a client’s property, as part of a personal injury claim. I advise on Building Design and Construction Applications under the Building Regulations and Planning Acts.
