The Facts: I am registered with IEATA. I have an Expressive Arts Practice in rural Ontario, Canada and have been working in the field for over 30 years. My clients include Mental Health Services and the Abbey Retreat Centre working with people living with cancer both online and in person. I’ve been awarded the Fellowship of Applied Education and nominated for the Innovation and Creativity Award from the Chamber of Commerce. I am the founder of the Visible Voices Open Arts Studio, a community hub for making. I have a paper in the International, peer reviewed Journal of Arts & Health. I am invited to speak locally, nationally and internationally about my work.More importantly: I am passionate about stories, mine, and others. I am a storycatcher. I have the privilege of guiding people to put difficult stories into a metaphorical story world using traditional and digital formats. Together we work with image, voice, words and sound to tell what needs to be told.
