I lead strategies with effect across the school, working with and providing training and support for all staff, working directly with pupils and parents, and providing outreach and advice to colleagues across the wider trust.I work with the Senior Leadership Team, to take a lead role to shape, deliver and oversee appropriate behaviour strategies for the school that meets the needs of all pupils especially the most vulnerable alongside this I make strong contributions to school improvement work as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.I take an active lead in Behaviour Learning Walks, and provide written and verbal feedback to colleagues and SLT.I source and deliver training for teachers and support staff and the wider trust to enable effective management of behaviour for all pupils, and especially those with additional needs or dysregulation.I Line manage any staff working as learning mentors or allocated to support dysregulated pupils including 1:1 SEN support. I work proactively with parents, both in providing training for groups and bespoke support and communication with identified families.I liaise with teaching staff to set targets of re-integration with pupils and the appropriate staff, keeping parents informed and evaluating achievement towards these goals.I support members of teaching staff in identifying those pupils who would benefit most from a learning mentor and, working with others, drawing up and implementing an action plan for each pupil who needs particular supportI liaise with teachers and maintain regular contact with families/carers of pupils in need of extra support to keep them informed of the pupils needs and progress, and to secure positive family support and involvement.I lead on Mental Health and wellbeing for all across the school. As a Thrive Leader across the school, I monitor whole class screening and devise and deliver individual action plans for use at home and school -liaising and working closely with parents

Working with Primary age student’s in a ISP, those children that have been given an EHCP that states they need an alternative provision to mainstream schoolMy job primarily is to help the pupils re engage with learning as most have had a negative experience or have been out of education for some time. To help pupils understand their own feelings, how they can regulate them. building on the positives and their strengths to give them and enriched and happy school life with a good balance of core subjects within a nurturing and broader curriculum to meet their individual SEMH need through trauma and attachment activities. As well as helping them with their individual ASD barriers and to over come some of these challenges by giving the pupil strategist to help. I am also an advanced Team teach Tutor with over 20 years of experience with a particular focus of deescalation, strategies, seeing the early signs, being aware of how attachment / trauma and ASD can effect a young person and building bridges and debriefing. I am a big advocate of giving a young Person a Champion member of staff that will care and already be there even through their darkest days.
