I screened, recruited and consented patients, and collected blood samples for studies conducted in the cardiology department.

As one of the 25 selected students for J&J’s DEI initiative, I assisted the prostate oncology therapy discovery group. I completed a review of an existing prostate cancer therapy. At the end of the internship, I presented my findings to the prostate disease area team and at the Summer Intern Symposium.

IRCAD (Institute for Research in Digestive Cancer) is a research and training center aimed at developing new minimally invasive surgical techniques. I facilitated the communication between their health accelerator and start-up companies for surgical product innovation.
