Application Architect
CurrentThe whole reinsurance department of Manulife was sold to Pacific life with all the software running the business. As the application architect, I continued using the Framework that was developed for Manulife to build more applications, During my work in Pacific life, I lead the development team in many successful development projects to build more challenging applications and expanding the framework to cover more areas like (workflow development and managing SSIS).I created lot of utilities to help my users managing the client Inforce and transaction files, and providing a useful analytical tool to analyze their data.I designed and led the team to create a Generic mapping tool (very advanced ETL tool) which is the company way to define and control the loading of hundreds of insurance companies Inforce/Transaction data into our repository regardless of the different layouts and loading rules of these files which is out of our control. The tool withstood many challenges by other tools in the market for long years, and is still being used solely to load the insurance inforce files from all our clients.
