I managed globally distributed data centers across North America, Europe, and Asia, working on large-scale projects generating features for machine learning models. I was an Information Security Consultant at Algar Tech, a service-focused outsourcing company that operates in several organizations of the Brazilian government, such as MRE (Ministério de Relações Exteriores), CNJ (Conselho Nacional de Justiça), CGU (Controladoria-Geral da União), PF (Polícia Federal), CNPq (Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Tecnológico e Científico), among several others. I'm responsible for proposing and implementing project-oriented solutions on the organizations served by Algar Tech, ranging from vulnerability analysis and systems and applications penetration testing, incident response process development as well as hardening and automation of traditional, virtualized and containerized infrastructure.

Acting as an independent consultant for Cebraspe (formerly Cespe/UnB) I created customized solutions geared towards digital exams and evaluations for clients such as INEP/ENEM (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio) Digital, SENAI and SEBRAE, as well as custom systems for video playback to students with disabilities, automatic grading of typing tests, among others. I developed client/server Linux distributions tailor-made for these tasks, with several usability and security improvements to simplify the tasks done by proctors.

Responsible for analysis and security incident response using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and network analysis tools, as well as pentesting and applying offensive security techniques to test banking systems, networking and ATMs. Also developed scripts and automation tools to solve problems involving intrusion and bank fraud prevention. Some of these projects were utilized nationwide by Febraban (Federação Brasileira das Associações de Bancos) and Sicoob themselves to improve security in services such as DNS and online searching, or simplify forensic analysis of banking fraud events.

I was responsible for migrating and implementing a new corporate email and webmail solution for University of Brasília, an institution with over thirty thousand users among students, faculty and staff. Working as a consultant, I managed deployments related to the Corporate LDAP project, UnB Cloud using OpenStack and JBoss clustering and HA provisioning.
