Surplus Lines Tax• Process surplus lines tax transactions for over 10 States.• File and process payments for surplus lines taxes on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual to ensure filing deadlines per state requirement.• Complete surplus lines state audits.• Reviewed and advised team of any upcoming surplus lines tax changes implemented per state.• Updated operating systems, Salesforce and Nexsure, to ensure accuracy in quotes and billing surplus lines tax.• Completed stamping of non-admitted policies in compliance with each state.2. Accounts Receivable• Collect and post payments via check, ACH, Wire and direct deposit.• Allocate payments based on MGA program vs Retail Agent billing• Follow up with Agents on Insured’s payments to avoid NOC and/or cancellation.3.
