Responsible for testing software solutions that allow various front-end software packages to communicate with, manipulate and monitor Hitachi Data Systems' storage arrays and Network Attached Storage. In this dynamic, fast-past group, I have wholly responsible for testing 5 different software adapters, including:-Hitachi Provider for VMware API for Storage Awareness (VASA)-Hitachi Content Provider for Symantec NetBackup-Hitachi Storage Adapter Plugin for Petrel Platform-Hitachi Storage Adapter for VMware vCenter-Hitachi Storage Plugin for Microsoft System Center In our group, each QA tester is responsible for their adapter must perform the following tasks: -Update and revise documentation-Respond to Customer Issues and Field Escalations-Write the test plan-Write all test cases-Maintain and report test results.Though my primary role is software testing, my accomplishments also include:-Implementation of a test database to replace the use of spreadsheets for test reporting, storage and project tracking.-Revision and cleanup of the Lab SAN to follow best practices.-Training of other team members without Data Storage backgrounds.

QA testing of various EMC products (PowerPath multipathing/load balancing / failover) which also include:- extensive use of VMware ESX Infrastructure, both as a tool and for production consolidation- configuration of SANs (Brocade layer two switch fabrics)- configuration of iSCSI, Fiber Channel and FCoE hardware and software- Microsoft Clustering (Windows 2008, Windows 2003)- Following test plans and updating test cases- Troubleshooting and documenting failures- planning for purchase of hardware and equipment

-Call center based outsourced tech support for Microsoft Outlook-Later based in Shiva Corp as in house (outsourced) Tech SupportDiagnosed and resolved customer issues over the phone using troubleshooting logic, knowledgebase articles and self-taught computer skills.
