Provides web development and application and data integration consulting services.Notable accomplishments include: (1) a web crawler that spiders online news sources and produces categorized XML output for consumption by TAI’s DIANE, a tool for information collection, storage, extraction, analysis and display capability for tracking global trends, (2) the development of a server-side Microsoft Internet Explorer add-on, which allows users to bookmark, annotate, and share websites, (3) the development of a ISP-hosted project management and collaboration tool, which tracks project progress, resources and provides the user with industry related information, (4) computer based training and self-testing, and (5) the development of a meeting and event management online application.

Follows and provides feedback to W3C specifications. In particular the following working group activities: (1) Extensible Markup Language (XML), (2) Web Services, (3) XForms, (4) Style (CSS/XSL), (5) HTML, (6) Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P), and (7) Semantic Web (Resource Description Framework (RDF) and Web Ontology language (OWL)).

Engineered single sign-on to and application interoperability between numerous third-party systems and web applications.Manages efforts concerning data quality, security and access, standards and policies, and information management practices. Researched and implemented Internet and multimedia technologies in support of the business needs of the University. Coordinated with various departments and research institutes to develop and maintain websites and web applications. Developed training material for and taught web related short courses to web information providers across the University. Wrote proposals and plans to define and obtain resources for projects.Notable accomplishments include: (1) customization and technical implementation of the web for students front end to SCT’s ERP system, which allowed for online course registration, grades display and more, (2) the development of a web-based email account creation system, which validated users’ credentials against the ERP system, (3) the automated nightly publishing of the University’s course catalogue schedule information from the ERP database, (4) the development of a project management web tool and a knowledge base, and more.
