Experienced Public Health Doctor with a solid history of working in federal, regional and local government health institutions in Brazil, as well as in the non-profit private health sector.Graduated in Medicine, Master in Community Health and Doctor in Public Health. Specialist in Epidemiology and Endemic Control, and in Occupational Medicine. Post-doctorate completed at the University of Porto in 2020-2021. Has experience in risk control of communicable and non-communicable diseases.He was Adjunct Professor at the Baiana School of Medicine and Public Health (1999-2007). He has a second degree in Law. His scientific production addresses topics related to “worker health”, “work and disability”, “history and health” and “law and health”. He served on the International Advisory Board of the Ministry of Labor in 2014. In 2010, he was Brazil's representative in Geneva for the preparation and technical discussion of ILO Recommendation 200 on HIV and AIDS and the World of Work, approved at the 99th.
