 Assist with building new milking sheds  Install cup removers and spray equipment above the platform. Install Hot Water Cylinders and vacuum pumps. Install silo wash lines and milking lines and connect to silos. Install plumbing fittings and ensure all PVC and galvanised pipes are fitted and joined as per plans and specifications. Commission the plant and work with registered electrician to ensure electrical componentry is installed correctly and signed off. Measure pump capacity and test for leakages in each component of the plant. Check for air flow. Check pulsation in each bale using the pulsation tester, saving the data for reporting. Fix small faults. Fill in the test report and complete summary sheet for each testing job undertaken. Identify work that needs to be undertaken and make recommendations on repairs and maintenance using the Machine Test Summary Form. Forward the report to the Scheduler and the Branch Manager for follow up with the farmer and booking of work. Undertake servicing work using either the Standard Plant Servicing List or the Dairy Minder Service and Maintenance Programme, based on what the farmer is singed up to. Enter all work undertaken in Simpro including parts, consumables, time, and accurate description of workundertaken to meet invoicing and pay sheet requirements. Investigate the problems/s using knowledge and experience to assess the problems. Undertake corrective action to repair any identified problems and report any potential maintenance work that needs to be carried out.
