I manage a community and database of 4000 experts that Eureka engages in peer-review processes of various funding programs (i.e., Eurostars, Innowwide, Fast Track to the EIC Accelerator, etc.).Main tasks: - Recruitment of independent experts for Eureka’s funding programs. - Management of Eureka’s expert database and coordination of expert community.- Quality assurance of R&D evaluation processes.- Improvement of platforms/databases used in R&D evaluation processes.- Development of new support services for Network members.Additional:- Implementation of pilot call under the Eureka Fast Track to the EIC Accelerator.

Eurostars is an R&D funding program supporting innovative SMEs in 37 countries, co-funded by Eureka and the European Union. As Process Expert (Evaluation and Ethics), I have coordinated 3 Eurostars calls for projects, delivering the evaluation of 500 to 600 project applications per call.Among my tasks:- Coordinating a team of 2 to 10 people.- Coordination of scientific and ethics expert panels (remotely and on site).- Working as first contact point for applicants, experts and national funding bodies.- Writing guidelines, producing public material (videos), presenting the program through webinars and at external events.- Coordinating with national funding bodies at various steps of the process.- Training, contracting and paying a pool of around 600 external experts.- Performing quality checks on experts' performance.- Analyzing data, producing reports for the Eureka Network and the European Commission.- Quality assurance and control.
